Accessibility
Our commitment to making this site usable by everyone, and how to tell us when it is not.
What we are aiming for
This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is checked automatically on every change and reviewed manually before release, rather than audited once at the end.
What that means in practice
Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible.
Text meets contrast requirements, and no information is conveyed by colour alone - availability, stock and urgency are always stated in words too.
Form fields have real labels, and errors say what went wrong and how to fix it.
Content reflows to narrow screens without sideways scrolling, and remains usable at 200% zoom.
Animation is reduced or removed when your device asks for that.
Known gaps
Photography across the site is placeholder while Ballaz supplies images. Alt text is required before any image can be published, so descriptions arrive with the photographs.
Tell us
If something on this site is difficult or impossible to use, please tell us through the Contact page or by phone. We treat accessibility problems as defects, not requests.
